Purchasing & Warehouse Coordinator

Our job ads are written in English: the workplace is Tralee, Ireland, and good English is a requirement. You can apply directly using the form.

We're a growing company producing nutritional products and selling directly to our customers. As we prepare to launch a new product, we're looking for a hands-on Purchasing & Warehouse Coordinator to handle our purchasing and stock. This is a varied role for someone who's happy to switch between organising orders at the desk and getting stuck in physically in the warehouse. Hours are flexible — we're happy to discuss full-time or part-time to suit the right person.

Purchasing & stock

  • Order raw materials, ingredients and packaging, and manage supplier contact
  • Raise and track purchase orders, and match deliveries to orders and invoices
  • Monitor stock levels, plan reorders and avoid shortages or overstock
  • Keep accurate records for traceability, including batch and delivery documentation

Warehouse & operations

  • Receive, check and store incoming goods; organise and maintain the warehouse
  • Pick, pack and prepare shipments to our distribution warehouse
  • Support the production team on-site and help wherever an extra pair of hands is needed
  • Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and compliant with food-hygiene standards

A chance to get involved in more

If it's something you enjoy, there's also the opportunity to get involved in product development — helping mix ingredients and test new flavours. No formal qualification is needed for this, just a genuine interest in flavours, nutrition and organisation.

What we're looking for

  • Well-organised and reliable person, with a good head for numbers and accurate record-keeping
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, with lifting aids and training provided
  • Comfortable using email, spreadsheets and basic stock or ordering systems
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude who's happy to turn their hand to different tasks
  • Good spoken and written English, and the right to work in Ireland
  • An interest in flavours and nutrition is a plus
  • Purchasing, warehouse or stock-control experience an advantage (not essential — training provided)
  • A forklift / manual handling certificate is an advantage (not essential)
  • Willingness to complete food-hygiene / HACCP training (provided by us)

What we offer

  • A friendly, close-knit team and a genuinely varied role
  • Flexible hours — full-time or part-time by arrangement
  • An attractive salary, depending on experience
  • On-the-job training and room to grow with the company
